03-01-01-01 Long-acting beta2 agonists

Single agent long acting beta2 agonists are only recommended in COPD patients with an FEV >50% as per British Thoracic Society guidelines. However, combination inhalers (long acting beta2 agonist and a corticosteroid) are more commonly prescribed first line.
